Enjoy the beautiful seafront of St Peter Port without any
traffic!
Selected dates when the
main seafront of St Peter Port is closed to traffic for alfresco dining and special events often featuring local
food tastings and cookery demonstrations.
A brief synopsis of events is as follows:
Sundays
22 May
Taste of Guernsey Showcase for local producers and chefs, a scheduled programme of displays,
demonstrations and participative 'schools' are designed to develop pride in local food expertise. A hands-on fun,
family oriented event.
5 June

10 July
Samba Sunday Locals and visitors alike of all ages can have a go at drumming, samba dancing, and
carnival craft before taking part in a mini parade along the seafront.
17 July
Floral Guernsey Final day of the annual Floral Festival Week giving the Floral Guernsey Council an
opportunity to stage their own family based floral fete/fayre with plant sales, floral demonstrations and
children’s based competitions.
24 July Sports Guernsey An opportunity for families to learn some new sporting skills ranging
from judo, petanque and touch rugby, through demonstrations and have- a go sessions.

Arts Guernsey An opportunity for the family to enjoy a wide variety of activities with an emphasis on
participation running across a wide range of arts’ disciplines including musical entertainment covering different
genres.
