Monday 9th May 2011: Liberation Day Liberation Day Commemorates the day Guernsey was liberated from German Occupation during the Second World War. Guernsey celebrates with a Bank Holiday that is packed with fun events for all the family.


The hub of the activities is on the various piers of St Peter Port seafront and there are plenty of attractions for young and old alike including historical exhibitions, open-air concerts, street entertainers, buskers and live theatre.
