Holy Trinity was built in 1789 and originally known as La Chapelle de la Trinite and its foundation is probably connected with the visit of John Wesley two years earlier. One of four Parish churches in St Peter Port, it was built at a cost of £2,990 by a group of townsmen. Alterations were made in 1830. However with a dwindling congregation, it was later sold to the Anglican Diocese on 15th June 1846. The Church community hall was erected in nearby Park Street in 1889. See their website at www.holytrinity.org.gg Perry's Ref: T J9
Another of the St Peter Port Parish Churches, St Stephen's is situated at Les Gravees. This magnificent building was erected in 1865 and represents the 'High Church' tradition. Perry's Ref: T D6
The fourth of the St Peter Port churches, St John serves the Amherst and Longstore areas. Built in 1836, it caters for an Anglican style of worship in both family and contemporary styles. See their website at www.stjohnsguernsey.org Perry's Ref: T K2
St Matthew's Parish Church is the smaller of the parish churches in the Castel. Built in 1854 following representations from a young girl Marianne Carey who was concerned that the three miles to the Castel Parish church was too far for the fishermen of the area to walk. It is built in the style of a fisherman's church. See their website at www.guernsey.net/~st-Matthews Perry's Ref: 15E1
This small medieval chapel named after St Apolline , the patron saint of dentists, dates back to 1392. It has been restored and is now open to the public. A feature of the chapel is a 14th century painting of the Last Supper. Perry's Ref: 13E5
