The festival celebrates the liberation of the Channel Islands and this will be its third
year.
The four day event will run from 6 to 9 May 2011 and stars over ten internationally acclaaimed
artists, peforming dramatic atmospheric musich. It has attracted clarinettist Michael Collins
as they remember the 75th annivesrary of the Spanish civil war. Also enjoy stars including Nicola
Benedetti the former Classic FM Artist of the Year, the multiple award winning classical cellist
Natalie Clein, the acclaimed Sitkovetsky Trio with the Jersey Chamber Orchestra and many
more. Organisers regard it as a great Channel Island tourism event and it attracted
international coverage last year.
Other highlights include performances from painist Wu Qian, jazz singer Clare Teal and viola
player Philip Dukes. You will find the event hosted at St Helier town hall, Elizabeth Castle and
Longueville Manor.
