Guernsey Beaches
Guernsey has 27 fine beaches to suit all tastes from rocky coves in the south to long sandy beaches on the west coast where you have the added pleasure of seeing the sun set into the Atlantic ocean . There are beaches facing all directions and if windy, you will also be able to find one that is sheltered. Most have a kiosk and toilet facilities.
Two beaches L'Eree and and Port Soif have once again won in 2008, the coveted Good Beach Guide recommendation for water cleanliness. All other beaches except for one, passed the minimum water quality standards set by the Marine Conservation Authority and the EU.
