About two hours gentle waking. 8 May - 5 Jun Occupation and Liberation Exhibition at The Visitor Centre A new exhibition about life and events during the German Occupation of the island in conjunction with other events which celebrate the 65th anniversary of the liberation on May 10th 1945. 8 May Wildflower walk Join Visitor Officer Penny Prevel on the final wildflower walk of 2010. Rafiki Jazz 7 Jun - 10 Jul Sark Wildlife Exhibition at The Visitor Centre An exhibition packed with information and pictures about everything natural that creeps and crawls on, flys over or swims around our very special island. 27 Jun Lord's Taverners Cricket Match Come to mingle with the celebraties and watch the cricket. Enjoy a good day out. 30 Jun - 1 Jul Midsummer Show. In Sark's Island Hall, this two day event shows the very best of Sark's horticulture and agriculture. Includes miniature gardens and craft work of pupils of Sark School. 2 Jul - 4 Jul Folk Festival More details later of this new and exciting event on the Sark summer season calendar. 12 Jul - 14 Aug Channel Islands Lighthouses Exhibition at The Visitor Centre Come to find out more about this fascinating subject. 17 Jul - 18 Jul Sheep racing. The world famous and ever popular Sark two day event. Just like Ascot, even the hats, but sheep are the stars rather than horses. Enjoy a flutter, good food, fun activities. 7 Aug St Peter's Traditional Church Fayre You cannot get more traditional than the church fayre in the vicarage garden. Stalls, food and the good old things like a coconut shie. 14 Aug 07:12Candles on the Creux Light a candle in memory of a loved one and raise money for various charities...or just come to watch the spectacle of The Creux Harbour lit up by hosts of candles. 16 Aug - 18 Sep Why is Sark Special? Exhibition at the Visitor Centre A general exhibition. Somehting for all interested Sarkophiles. 2 Sep - 3 Sep Grand Autumn Show In Sark's Island Hall this two day event brings together the best and most beautiful of Sark's flowers,crops and wild plants. Not to be missed. 20 Sep - 30 Oct Sark. The Movie. Exhibition at The Visitor Centre. Come to find out just how many films and TV programmes have been made on our tiny island.
