The following key events are scheduled to take place during 2008:

22nd-10th May Sark Wild Flowers Exhibition

26th-10th May Sark Wild Flower Fortnight
Celebrate the spectacular wild flowers of Sark with a programme of walks and a special exhibition (from 22nd March)

12th-13th June Sark Wildlife
Early bird walks, rock pool walks and bat walks on selected days, plus a supporting exhibition

16th-5th July Sark Artists Exhibition
Painting and drawing lessons, talks and open studios on selected days

 
25th-26th Midsummer Show
A showcase for everything - from home-grown produce through to sloe gin

 
28th-29th The Lord's Taverners Cricket Match
The annual cricket match between the Seigneur's XI and the celebrity Lord's Taverners XI

Other Regular Events & Activities
 
  • Garden Walks take place most Friday afternoons from May to early September starting at the Visitor Centre at 2pm.
  • La Seigneurie Gardens are open from 10am to 5pm every day except Sunday.
  • Carriages pick-up passengers and return to La Collenette, at the top of Harbour Hill each day.
  • Boat trips around the island and fishing excursions are available most days.
  • The Occupation and Heritage Museum in Rue Lucas is open most days throughout the season; Caragh's Chocolate factory is also open most days. Cycles are available to hire from three shops in the village.
