13 Sep 02- It was reported today that hotel beds in Jersey have declined by 38% in the last 5 years and guest house beds have halved. There are now 5,500 less beds available in tourist establishments. During the same period however there was good news from the banking sector. Deposits rose by £35billion to £135bn.
