2 year fight to build a golf course. The Appeals Committee upheld his

Sunday sailings needed
27 Oct 00- Islanders are calling on the Chief
Pleas to approve Sunday passenger boat sailings to the island next summer.
The island has traditionally been closed to day-trippers on a Sunday, but
the experiment in 2000 proved popular. Many feel that Sark tourism will
suffer unless the rule can be relaxed. |
